Summer Program Overview
Session 1 is our theatre arts exploration. Each week, we will learn about theatre and music. The students will learn about famous musicals and plays and put on a play of their own. We will have field trips to the theatre and shows in the park.
During the second session we will learn about American history. Each week, we will learn about the history of our country, the founding fathers and presidents. We will have field trips to the different historical sites in our nation’s capital, Washington, DC.
Session III is our adventure series with learning about sports. Each week, we will learn about the history of sports, famous players and important of sport to life. Our outdoor activity will reflect the fun of being active! We will have trips to Allen Pond Park and other local parks daily.
Session IV is our music exploration series. Each week, we will learn about the basics of music and pop culture. Each week, we will learn about music history, famous musicians and the importance of music. We will have field trips and activities that reflect the students learning of music.
Jumpstart Camp is a 2-week intensive academic camp to prepare for the next school year. Students learn next grade curriculum in Math and a selection of writing or high school science Biology, Chemistry.
P.S – Middle and High school students are in class all day except during lunch.
Camp only: 9am -4pm
Camp and Care: 6:30am -6:30pm
Please also label all of your child’s items. In an effort to build a memorable camp experience, we ask that personal gaming devices, tablets, and other electronic devices be left at home. Cell phones will need to be put away during camp activities and will only be allowed out for emergency purposes.
